LAWSONIA INERMIS 

Fungal infections can be treated by applying a paste of the leaves on the affected areas in the morning and evening for 5 to 6 days.

Extract juice from the leaves and apply all over the feet and soles in the morning and at bedtime as a relief for burning feet.

 

 

 

TERMINALIA BELERICA

Sore Eyes: Dry and powder 15 gms each of fruit covers of Terminalia chebula, Terminalia belerica and Emblica officinalis.  Boil 1 tsp in 1 cup of water and reduce to half.  Filter solution with clean and fine cloth.  Swab eyes with cotton dipped in this filtered solution from nose side outwards 5 to 6 times a day till cured.

 

 

 

 

GLYCYRRHIZA GLABRA

Tooth ache can be controlled by sinsing the mouth with a decoction of yashti (Glycyrrhiza glabra), 2-3 times daily.

In case of bad breath, mix equal quantities of cardamom (Elettaria cardamomum) and Glycyrrhiza glabra and mustha (Cyperus rotundus).  Chew a small fraction of this mixture atleast once in 3 hours.
